Cardiac disease, chronic kidney disease and metabolic derangements like type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and their risk factors share etiologies and pathophysiologic mechanisms. These novel insights and their therapeutic implications have been recognized and adopted by cardiology, nephrology and endocrinology alike. Yet a need exists for a multidisciplinary scientific platform that unites all interested parties and serves as a unique gathering, devoting time to in-depth Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolic and Obesity discussions.

CaReMe-O aims to create a large multidisciplinary platform that allows the development of connections and synergies among physicians and researchers from different specialties, using cutting-edge education formats and technologies. Sessions will be dedicated to the common denominators of CaReMe and presentations will highlight both specific aspects and mechanisms of each element as well as their interactions.
